A data center and a rolling mill have nothing in common except the bill.

In a data hall, the enemy is the sub-cycle sag that trips a chiller nobody thought to protect. In a rolling mill, the enemy is your own load: flicker and unbalance so severe that the network operator caps how much capacity you are allowed. On a wind farm, it is a rejected G99 study. At a treatment works, it is a pump start that browns out the instrumentation.
